Overview

The NuVu Query Suite is an affordable, integrated software suite of programs which allow for the direct interrogation of the underlying databases without the need for ODBC drivers. Progress databases are supported natively and any other database that is able to be interrogated using an OLEDB driver is also able to use the tool. The integrated dashboard facility is an added feature.

Results of these queries may be output to Excel, CSV, XML, PDF and other formats.

Optional Row-Level security will ensure that only sections of the database are available depending on the user login credentials. This is a feature not available to other query software that utilize ODBC access to the database.

A scheduler is provided to automate the running of the schedules and subsequent emailing, faxing, printing of the results.

The Executive Dashboard tool provides a container to display results (in chart, grid or PDF form) of any selected queries. The Dashboard also provides the ability to embed RSS feeds from the internet or intranet.

NuVu Query is the perfect solution for intelligently interrogating your underlying database without any further database licencing costs.

The NuVu Query Suite is totally thin-client – so a client can connect to the repository and execute a query from anywhere in the world, without suffering the performance issues of ODBC or other thick-client technologies.

Support assistance for evaluation copies of the NuVu Query Suite is not available. However there is extensive online documentation available from within the product.
